Motel Visitor Wins Resolution Against Big-Time Motel Owner for Slip and Fall Accident
Our client, a marketing executive, needed several operations following his stay at a widely advertised motel complex in South Carolina. It had been raining during the night of his stay. When he stepped out of his room in the morning, he slipped on the doormat, which turned out to be old, worn, and saturated with water. Our client fell, seriously fractured his ankle, and damaged his knee. Because the motel owner was the largest employer at the town where the accident occurred, we succeeded in moving negotiations to a more neutral area. We resolved the case for $225,000.
