Our client was a 90-year-old female who fell while taking a vacation on a cruise ship headed to Acapulco. She was walking toward the dining room when she slipped on the floor. Our client fractured her ribs as a result of the accident, and we filed a lawsuit against the cruise line on her behalf. During discovery and deposition, we were able to ascertain that the cruise ship was negligent in its maintenance of the dining room floor. Our client received a settlement of $75,000.
